Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law is a video game developed by High Voltage Software. It was released on January 8, 2008. You play as Harvey Birdman and try to win a case. The game features many different cases. Some of them can be extremely complex, and others are just plain funny.
Cases in the game
Like most episodic adventure games, Cases in the Harvey Birdman attorney at Law is made up of short, simple cases. Players can only select the answers that are relevant to the case, and the interactions are limited to the necessary ones. One major downside is that there’s no comical dialogue between the various characters.
The game is based on the cartoon character of the same name and is an adaptation of the Adult Swim late-night show. The game features cameos from the characters from the show, including a few Ace Attorney characters. A trailer for the game was shown at the 2007 E3 convention. The trailer revealed that the game mimics the mechanics of the Ace Attorney and Street Fighter series, and a few cameos from the latter.
The game was developed by High Voltage Software and published by Capcom of America. The game is based on the Adult Swim cartoon. Both the show and the game share the same creators, though it has their own unique features. The voice actors from the show reprise their roles in the game. However, Stephen Colbert does not reprise his role as the infamous Reducto.

In this game, you will encounter several different characters, including the notorious Blue Falcone, who has just murdered an elderly woman. You’ll interact with other characters and question them in court. You’ll also have the opportunity to present evidence and speak with witnesses.
Characters in the Phoenix Wright games
In the Phoenix Wright attorney at law games, there are numerous characters. For the most part, the characters are portrayed in their most positive light, but they can also display their darker side. Some of these characters can be a bit too evil, or a little too sweet.
The main antagonist of the Phoenix Wright attorney at law games is Manfred von Karma. As one of the series’ villains, he has a great deal of influence over other characters. In the first game, “Turnabout Goodbyes,” Phoenix confronts him in a courtroom. At first, Manfred is intimidating, but once revealed as a murderer, he becomes a dangerous, ominous presence. He is also a major influence on Miles, so much so that he dominates much of the first game.
Lana is another major character. Lana is the star prosecutor. She has a cold exterior, but she is a sympathetic figure to Phoenix. Ema, meanwhile, is Lana’s little sister. She becomes Phoenix’s assistant in the final case, but she is also naive and has a great deal of heart. She wants to be a scientific investigator when she grows up.
Inconsistencies in the game
It’s not surprising that Capcom decided to develop a game based on the popular cartoon series, Harvey Birdman. Much like Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, this graphic adventure game will challenge players to gather evidence, interview witnesses, and point out inconsistencies in their testimony. The storyline is largely reminiscent of the original cartoon, with a focus on the comical side of the titular character.
Inconsistent witness interrogation is also common in the series. Witnesses only speak when something important is said, and many of them respond only with canned responses. The show’s characters don’t care whether they win or lose, and they rarely give a satisfying answer. This reflects the fact that the writers have little regard for the credibility of the witnesses.
Despite the many inconsistencies, “Harvey Birdman Attorney at Law” is a solid series. While a few episodes are subpar and the show loses its way towards the end, it’s still one of the best shows on Adult Swim. It started as a spoof of Hanna-Barbera cartoons and quickly developed into a satirical comedy. Stephen Colbert’s performance as Phil Ken Sebben is an incredible addition to the series.
